For over 30 years, Josh Davis has expressed his passion, taste, and values through the music he creates as DJ Shadow. The name alone evokes a high watermark for instrumental hip-hop and composition. From his first masterpiece Endtroducing…, to the genre-hopping UNKLE release Psyence Fiction, to the otherworldly elegance of The Private Press and its iconic single “Six Days,” to his underrated Bay Area celebration The Outsider, his work in the ‘90s and first decade of the 2000s is as essential as it is hard-to-pin-down.

About Action Adventure...
The first sampled words heard on DJ Shadow’s latest album Action Adventure, his seventh solo LP, are “all my records and tapes.” In fact, they are some of the only words heard on what is almost an entirely instrumental release; they’re a kind of thesis statement for an album that has its roots in the drifting, destabilizing days of the COVID lockdown. Action Adventure is an inward-looking project, made by Shadow alone without any collaborators. Action Adventure tells the listener: “This is about my relationship to music. My life as a collector and curator. All my records and tapes, and no one else’s.” The result is the most exciting DJ Shadow LP in years.
HOLLY
Miguel Oliveira, known as HOLLY, is a magnetic force, renowned for his award-winning production and genre-bending DJ sets.
Since being named ‘one of the top producers of 2017’ by both DJ Mag and Run The Trap, HOLLY has pushed creative boundaries and won accolades, including a medal of honor in Portugal for representing Portuguese culture around the world.
Blending hip-hop and electronic music with remarkable finesse, HOLLY defies genre expectations. His collaborative and forward-looking approach has seen his work feature in creative projects with Cirque Du Soleil/Blue Man Group, on a track featured in the latest Batman movie, and seen him established as a trend setter in the NFT space.
He has produced projects for esteemed hip-hop luminaries such as CL, Danny Brown, A$AP TyY, Dok2, 24hrs, and Uno the Activist. Additionally, HOLLY has collaborated with some of dance music’s most influential tastemakers, including Baauer, Machinedrum, Zeds Dead, and The Bloody Beetroots.

The Bridge Festival brings some of the UK flava to the Glasshouse in the form of BLine legend DJ Specifik alongside lyricists Holly Flo Lightly and Dan Swift. Expect some classic breaks, cut and scratched to perfection and served with a side of Holly’s smooth vocals and Dan’s rawness.
DJ Specifik is the head honcho of legendary UK Hip Hop label B-Line Recordings. With 3 albums and 60 vinyl releases plus a huge portfolio of features, Specific has certainly paid his dues to Hip Hop and dj culture.
Holly Flo Lightly is a conscious underground artist in the midst of a 20 year love affair with Hip Hop. Resident Host for “Soul’d Out” live music events and dabbling in stand up comedy, you can expect banter, energy, hard bars and soulful melodies from this multi-talented Hip Hop Artist.
Dan Swift has developed a name for himself beyond the North East with his unique voice and relatable lyrics. His most recent single, “Wanna Know,” has been featured numerous times on BBC Radio 1Xtra; definitely someone to have on your radar.
